Every bit makes a difference!

A new UN report shows that New Zealand has much higher rates of food insecurity than comparable countries – and those rates are growing. Food insecurity in New Zealand has increased by more than 6% in the past nine years, with 1 in 5 children living in homes where food runs out sometimes or often.

Windsor Park Baptist Church is proud to be partnering with the Auckland Church Network and the North Shore Food Insecurity Network for a North Shore Winter Food Drive throughout the months of July and August.

The winter months are especially tough for many families, with budgets tighter than ever. Every donation, big or small, helps families across our community through food support.

Approved Items List

The North Shore Winter Food Drive has an approved list of items that we are able to collect and then distribute out to the wider community. Please ensure you check out the list, purchase some items from it, and then drop off to our site for collection. Thank you for your generosity!

Drop Off Location/Times

Windsor Park Baptist Church is an official Collection Point for this appeal. You can drop off your approved items to Reception, Monday - Friday, 9am - 1pm, or to the Foyer on Sundays, 9am - 12pm. If you'd like to see the other collection points, click on the button below:

Financial Contributions Appreciated

If you're unable to head to the shops to grab some items to donate to the Appeal, we would gladly accept any financial donation, purchasing items on your behalf for the North Shore Winter Food Drive. Whether it's $1 or $100, every contribution makes a difference!
